Is This Going to be Scary? No.

Jessie and a boy sit down to watch a movie together.
Jessie hasn't seen the movie before.
Boy has and won't tell Jessie what the movie is about.
Boy assures Jessie that she'll like the movie.
The movie turns out to be a scary, gory movie.
Jessie peeks out from under her blanket for most of it,
but has to finish it to find out how it ends.

This familiar pattern happened today at the beach with a friend (Ryan) who subbed for one of my regular lifeguards. This is the only reason I have seen movies like Saw or Silent Hill. You'd think I would have learned my lesson by now.
