Beach Day

Me, Morgan, Jordan, and Cora-Lee had a lovely and relaxing day at the beach. My first one of the summer, actually. It was sunny, not too windy, and pretty warm. The water was super cold, but bearable. I faithfully worked on getting rid of my lifeguard bathing suit tan and was made fun of for reading the newspaper on the beach :). We also had a rousing game of some intense water football and were close to being hit by some guys playing baseball on the beach. Yes, BASEBALL- while people were trying to relax and tan. It was kinda cute to see this middle-aged foreign man leave his wife on the blanket to ask the teenage guys if he could play with them and they ended playing all together for a long time. That part was nice. This was the only positive thought I had about those baseball boys during the entirety of our stay at the beach. The fabulous snack of the day was in fact, Zeer-oh's. These would be white Oreo-looking cookies that have no trans-fat or even cholesterol (I'm not sure about the cholesterol). Anyho, they were surprisingly good and we referred to them as Zeeeeeeee-rohhhhhhhhs. Good day!
